Dollars raised through the JCHS Annual Fund help to bridge the gap between tuition income and the real cost of providing this unique and exceptional education.

As is the case at other independent schools, tuition at JCHS only covers a percentage of the actual cost of a student’s education. We strive to keep tuition costs as affordable as possible for as many families as we can, but every year, we must cover the difference between tuition and expenses

The Annual Fund represents a vital portion of the operating budget and touches every area of student life at JCHS, from educational and co-curricular programs including tuition assistance, experiential education, teacher recruitment and retention, athletics, technology and community service.

Each year, we ask parents, alumni parents, faculty and staff, grandparents, board members and friends to support our students with a meaningful gift to the Annual Fund. In 2011-12 100% of the JCHS faculty, staff, Board of Directors, as well as 97% of our parent body supported the Annual Fund. Together as a community we sustain our commitment to providing the excellent college preparatory and enriching Jewish education for which we are recognized.
