JCHS Middle School Workshops - April 14, 2019

Open to 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Students!

Student workshops are free of charge, but please register ahead of time as space is limited!

Join Math and Robotics teacher John Hagen as you work with robots of various sorts. You'll work in small groups as you program the robots to complete a wide variety of tasks, including writing a simple Python program to respond to your voice commands. No experience necessary. JCHS will provide laptops and equipment.

Get creative in a hands-on studio art and camera-less photography workshop with visual artist Masha Kouznetsova. You'll work individually and in groups on creating photograms in the darkroom and taking pictures using hand-made pinhole cameras. See the world in a new way through various materials and by learning new techniques. No previous skills or experience are required for this workshop.

All student workshops are free of charge and open to teens in 6th, 7th and 8th grades.
