Reflections on the Sophomore Journey: Vegas and Zion

Roni Greenberg '16
The sophomore journey far exceeded my already high expectations. Seeing the natural beauty of Zion National Park was absolutely breathtaking.
As the daunting red mountains stood before me I couldn’t help but marvel at the natural beauty of this spectacular face. I appreciated the fact that my school took me to this stunning place, and how amazing it is. What I found even more amazing was how well my class bonded in the nature. On our long but pleasant hikes, it felt as if we were one cohesive unit instead of a grade broken up into very particular friend groups.  Through nature I not only learned more about who I am, but I also learned about who my friends are. And I thought I was taking a break from learning.
