The Wolves gear up for Baseball this week and the Swim team achieved some personal bests this week.
Baseball faced Summit Prep this week. Strong pitching from Adam Cohen and Gabe Feiner kept the Wolves in the hunt. Jesse Lieberman went 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs for JCHS. Ultimately, fielding errors hurt the Wolves as they fell to the Huskies 7-11. The Wolves gear up for three games next week including the Senior Celebration Game on Tuesday, May 2.
Congratulations to all Swim Team members who competed in our third and final swim meet this past week. In their final meet for JCHS, Oksana Chubrikova and Ma'ayan Epstein had their best meet of their careers. Oksana shaved 25 seconds off her 500-meter freestyle race and swam a 1:16 split in the final freestyle relay. Ma'ayan swam her best time in 100-meter butterfly finishing in 1:18 and equaling her personal best time of 2:25 in the 200-meter butterfly. Maxim Kuznetsov swam a strong 100-meter butterfly even though his goggles feel off as he came off the blocks!
