Join us for the 2018 Fashion with Compassion, a charity fashion show organized entirely by JCHS students to benefit Save a Child's Heart, which provides life-saving heart surgery to children in developing countries.
Fashion With Compassion is a national organization that was founded in 2008 by two sophomores who wanted to raise funds for a small city in Israel that was under attack. Created by students in Los Angeles for students, Fashion With Compassion empowers its members to believe in themselves – and to take responsibility for serving as agents of change. Fashion With Compassion provides a unique platform to teach students about the professional world, build bridges between the school and the local community, and raise money for Israeli-based charities.
Last year, JCHS hosted its first Fashion with Compassion event, which raised $4,000 for the hunger-relief organization Yad Eliezer. Partners included Adidas, Vera Bradley, SoulCycle, Jigsaw London, True Religion, Urban Outfitters, among other. This year's show on May 2nd, 2018 at Jewish Community High School in San Francisco at 5:30 pm, benefits Save a Child’s Heart, an organization that has saved the lives of over 4,300 children from more than 52 countries. Save a Child’s Heart does not discriminate and will treat all children equally regardless of their race, religion, ethnicity or gender.
You are not just coming to a fun, fashion-forward event, you'll be a part of empowering today's student leaders while raising funds for a deserving cause.
