Senior Keystone Project: Health Benefits of Human-Dog Connections
Keystone Presentation Date: Mon., May 22, 2:05-3:20 pm
My Keystone project explores the benefits that engagement with dogs has on human physical and mental health. I'm also excited to share my appreciation for dogs with the community.
For my primary mode, I’ve created a "De-Stress with Dogs" event featuring three therapy dogs at JCHS and promoted it by creating posters that feature students and faculty with their pets.. For my secondary mode, I’ve been volunteering with Rocket Dog Rescue and learning about the adoption process and fostering dogs.
