Morey Lipsett is a San Francisco Native who has worked as a Jewish Educator in the Bay Area for the past 5 years. Morey graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a degree in Politics and Government and a minor in Religious Studies in 2019. He is currently a PhD Student in Religious Studies at the Graduate Theological Union, working on a dissertation about Ritual and Education as sites of historical reinterpretations within Queer Jewish Communities.

Morey currently teaches in Congregation Beth Shalom's Religious School and has previously taught at Temple Sinai of Oakland and Congregation Emanu-El of San Francisco. Morey is a board member of the Network for Research in Jewish Education and has delivered multiple papers at the Association for Jewish Studies and American Academy of Religion-Western Region Conferences.
