Vered Levinson

Vered Levinson is in her fifth year at JCHS, where she is delighted to teach Hebrew and share her enthusiasm for the language, Israeli culture, and the land of Israel. Born and raised in Israel, Vered studied art at Beit Berl College and began her career as an art teacher. She also taught Hebrew in an afternoon program and in preschool.

After moving to the Bay Area, Vered worked for many years as a preschool teacher at Bet Shalom in San Francisco, where she remains connected to the community by teaching Hebrew in their Moadon program.

Vered is a proud mom to Elai and Yarden. She feels a strong connection to Israel, where she grew up and where much of her family still lives. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, visiting art exhibits, and attending music and comedy shows.
