The JCHS Student Life Team is thrilled to welcome all incoming ninth graders to orientation on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, 9:00 am -2:30 pm. Our Senior Buddies are busy preparing activities to help you feel comfortable and cared for!
Please read through the reminders below:
- The orientation takes place on campus, Tuesday, August 19, 9:00am-2:30pm.
- Lunch will be provided!
- Please bring a water bottle.

PROGRAM FOR THE DAY:
9:00 am
- 9th Grade students arrive at JCHS
- Casual coffee and schmooze for parents and guardians
- Settle in, activities
9:30 am – Welcome, Ice-Breaker Games, Small Group Activities
11:20 am– Lunch (provided)
12:00 pm – Senior Buddy/ProCom Game Show
12:30 pm – Senior-Run Electives
1:45 pm – Closing Circle, Letters to Selves
2:30 pm – End of Program

Parents and Guardians of the Class of 2029, we are so excited to welcome your 9th-grade student to campus for the Welcome Orientation! When you drop off your newest Wolf at JCHS on Tuesday, August 19 at 9 AM, the Admissions Team invites you to join us outside in the front courtyard for casual conversations. We will provide coffee, tea, and pastries.
This event will be informal and we will be in the courtyard for about 30 minutes, so if you decide to stop by at the last minute that morning, no problem!
Please note: Our WolfWear Store will be OPEN on August 19 and again at Back to School Night on Sept 16.
