Visual Arts

Connecting learning and community through the power of visual art.

JCHS incorporates visual art into all aspects of the student experience through collaboration with performing arts, integration into academic curriculum, gallery showcases and site-specific art installations throughout our campus. Student artists can develop and process film in our dark room, create relief prints on our printing press, or explore three-dimensional sculpture using our pottery wheel and kiln.

All student artists have an opportunity to exhibit their finished work at the annual Arts Re/View show in May. The JCHS Literary Magazine and the Arts Re/View catalog are published in the same volume, encompassing both literary creative work as well as visual and multimedia work.
