On Thursday, April 24, our community will mark Yom HaShoah, a day when we remember the six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust.
JCHS is fortunate to have JCHS mother and Co-PTA chair, Jackie Shelton, as the key speaker for our student-led memorial ceremony; she will be reflecting on the life of her mother, Ilse Shelton, who survived the Shoah through the Kindertransport – a program which sent children from Europe to UK during WWII.
