Dr. Camilo Jaramillo was born and raised in Colombia. After coming to the Bay Area in 2008 to pursue graduate school, he fell in love with northern California. In 2016, Dr. Jaramillo received his PhD in Hispanic Language and Literature from UC Berkeley, where he studied Latin American literature and film with a focus on critical theory and environmental studies.
