A Restorative Approach to Challenging Moments
Tuesday, January 27th @ 6pm in the Beit Midrash
At JCHS, we strive to build student-faculty relationships based on Restorative Practices and the principles of Teshuvah. Our purpose is to build the capacity, skills, and motivation within ourselves and our students so that we can be engaged and caring members of the community as well as collaborate to repair harm when it occurs.
Join us to explore how we might draw upon this restorative mindset as parents, especially when we encounter challenging moments with our children. You can expect to learn helpful tools, deepen connections with one other, share the wisdom we already have, and enjoy our time together!
This workshop will be co-facilitated by Julie Beck, School Counselor, and Roni Ben-David, Director of Social Justice & Inclusion.
