Welcome to the Renaissance, where Shakespeare is a rock star and the Bottom brothers are desperate playwrights trying to steal the spotlight. When Nick Bottom consults a soothsayer, he learns that the future of theater is… musicals! Inspired (and slightly confused), the brothers begin writing Omelet: The Musical, thinking it’s the Bard’s next big hit. What follows is a hilariously scrambled mix of tap-dancing eggs, mistaken prophecy, and theatrical chaos. Something Rotten! is a pun-packed romp full of satire, songs, and Shakespearean shenanigans. If you like your comedy clever and your history hilariously wrong, this show is eggs-actly for you!
