JCHS Commencement Ceremony – June 11, 2020

Of all the milestones that mark the Senior experience, we know that Commencement ranks among the most important. Although we were not able to be together in person in June, JCHS created a special and unique Commencement ceremony that honored the wonderful individuals of the Class of 2020, celebrated their class as a whole, and allowed for interactivity and a shared hands-on experience.

The unusual JCHS Commencement Ceremony is featured in the latest J. Weekly.

The J. Weekly also spoke with Jewish teens, including two JCHS seniors, about the impact the pandemic has had on their plans for the future.

Stadtner says the last few months have given him “time to understand who I am as Jew in this society. I’ve been putting a lot of time into reading Jewish texts. It’s been a blessing to read about Jewish issues and have them apply to issues we’re facing.”
