Charmel Moore is a dedicated Mathematics educator with nearly two decades of experience guiding students. Her journey into teaching began unexpectedly after earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from North Carolina A&T State University, a period when the institution was celebrated for producing the nation’s highest number of Black engineers. The aftermath of 9/11 prompted a pivot in her career aspirations, leading her to discover a profound love for teaching. This passion inspired her to pursue a Master’s Degree in Education.
Ms. Moore’s extensive career has taken her from classrooms in Connecticut to international schools in the United Arab Emirates. Having recently relocated to the Bay Area, she continues to refine her teaching techniques, always embracing the role of a lifelong learner. She is passionate about developing young minds and is known for creating an engaging, flexible, and accommodating learning environment for all types of students. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Moore enjoys learning and traveling, bringing a broad perspective to her teaching.
