Ellen has spent most of her life in the Bay Area, aside from a short period for college when she attended the University of Richmond for her undergrad. Prior to joining the JCHS community, she taught in Oakland public schools as a special education teacher for five years and was a Learning Specialist at another Bay Area independent school.
