Joe McDonald
University of California, Davis – BS
Joe McDonald has been teaching stage craft and served as technical theater director at JCHS since 2000 and is also the varsity tennis coach for JCHS. Prior to coming to JCHS, Joe directed his own event management company for over 20 years. He received his Bachelor of Science from UC Davis where he studied engineering and technical theater.
One of the few San Francisco natives at the school, Joe is excited to be expanding his role at JCHS to include filmmaking. He also mentors the club that produces JTV, a student-led JCHS news team that creates online video segments reporting on JCHS life. When not at JCHS, you can usually find him on a local tennis court or on the slopes in Tahoe.
