Before joining JCHS, Keena was with Camp Tawonga as the Annual Fund Manager and also worked as the Fund for LWHS Manager at Lick-Wilmerding High School. She served as the Development Coordinator at EARN, which offers matched savings accounts to low income families, helping them break the cycle of poverty by saving and investing in their futures. Prior to her career in fundraising and event planning, Keena was a professional costume designer and project manager for over 15 years, and her work could be seen at various theatre companies including The San Francisco Opera, Opera San Jose and the Colorado Shakespeare Festival. Keena holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Costume Design from The Conservatory of Theatre Arts as Webster University in St. Louis. She enjoys hand weaving and hand spinning, is an avid cook and will always take an opportunity to head to the mountains. Keena lives in San Francisco with her husband David, their two children and their black Labrador Retriever, Monty.
