Liam Harding started his career as a criminal defense lawyer working in remote communities in outback Australia. Before moving to San Francisco in 2015, Liam spent a decade involved in negotiating land rights for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as a senior lawyer with the National Native Title Tribunal.

Liam joined the JCHS faculty in 2019 and teaches both The Past and the Present, and AP European History. He holds a master’s degree in Secondary Teaching from the University of New England. In addition, Liam holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology.
