Raizy Lichtenstein has taught in a wide variety of Jewish educational settings, including Be’er Hagolah High School, Ateret Torah High School, and Mazel Day School (New York); Midreshet Tehillah, Be’er Miriam, and other gap-year programs (Jerusalem); Hamaqom, Kevah, and Edah (California). She was a professor of English and a participant in admissions assessment at Touro College in New York.

Raizy loves learning and teaching Jewish texts. She is passionate about creating structure and space for attentive reading and meaningful learning interactions, thereby enabling students to develop thoughtful and resilient approaches to Judaism and self. In her free time, Raizy enjoys making art, most recently as a Senior Fellow at the Atiq Maker Kollel. She also loves hiking the Bay Area’s beautiful trails.
