Service Learning Workshops on Thursday, February 22

9th Grade

9th Graders will participate in an activity exploring their personal “universe of obligation”– that is, the individuals and people they feel most responsible for supporting. They will also explore the factors that go into our “moral intuition” and how we each relate to the concept of “productive discomfort.”

10th and 11th grade

Students can participate in:

• A workshop on how to navigate roadblocks to finding (and participating) in service
• A workshop where they reflect on how their service experiences have shaped their perspectives — and what it looks like to volunteer from a place of solidarity.

12th Grade:

Senior Buddies will help with the 9th grade workshop following the Senior Class Photo at 11:15 AM (check your email or contact Ms. Evans for details).
