We can all agree that laughter is good medicine…so what are the secrets to doing humor well? At next week’s Community Block, we are hosting Samson Koletkar, a stand-up comedian who draws from his Indian background, Jewish roots, and life in America. Samson will share how he has honed his craft and why he finds it so meaningful. Samson grew up in Mumbai and got a Masters in computer software before starting his comedy career in San Francisco. He founded Comedy Oakland in 2009 and is the co-founder of the Desi Comedy Fest. He is the headliner of the “You’re Funny But You Don’t Look Jewish” tour.
