Tu B’Shevat: January 25, 2024
Tu B’Shevat (the 15th day of the month of Shevat on the Jewish calendar) is the Jewish New Year for the Trees and can encourage us to consider our relationship to the environment. We’ll mark Tu BShvat at school with an optional Tu BShvat seder and a reusable flatware competition. For each day that someone brings and uses a reusable bowl or plate at school next week, they’ll get a raffle ticket! At the end of the week, we’ll draw a winner. The prize will be a water bottle, bento box, or other reusable item.
