Freshmen Journey: A Journey to Remember

Ariel Cohen
We are on day 4 of the Freshman Journey and so far the students are having a blast! The first few days at camp were filled with fun and adventurous activities including ropes courses, nature hikes, and electives such as art, horseback riding and archery. The weather has been somewhat fickle, raining on and off for the duration of our ropes courses yesterday, however it let up long enough for the class to enjoy a beautiful campfire (and some s'mores) before heading to bed.
Today we are off to see LA! Our first stop will be to the Museum of Tolerance, followed by an afternoon of "hanging out" in the Santa Monica/Venice Beach area. For dinner, we will be heading to the Pico/Robertson Area for some delicious kosher options. Oh and by the way the sun is finally peaking out!
Tomorrow is our last morning in LA before boarding the bus and heading back to the Bay Area, but it will be hard to leave. We have already made so many life long memories in such a little amount of time. This has definitely been a journey to remember!
